The Gadget Show (Five)

Anyone watch The Gadget Show on Five? It's a good enough show and seems to be modelled on 5th Gear, the car show...but for Gadgets!

Each week the team review new gadgets and developments in the gaming/home cinema/computer industries. The show can get quite techie without alienating the general viewer.

Each week there is a challenge for each presenter, it might be to Pap some celebs using their new hi-def video camcorders and compare image quality. It might be to buy the best HDTV with a limited budget or as it was one week, to build a hovercraft (ala Braniac) but try it on water (they failed)!

It's not a bad show and they definitely have brilliant prizes in their competitions. Anyone watch it, any opinions?

Well I'm living in the UK at teh mo, have just bought a house and am getting married in July so money is tight and I won't be getting Sky any time soon (although a few weeks ago I thought it might be possible)...thankfully Five is a free terrestrial channel over here

Yeah, it comes from the old hacker language known as leetspeak (elite speaking).
These days, any hacker worth their salt only uses leetspeak ironically.

The Gadget show is actually pretty cool as they cover reviews on everything from computers to MP3 players, plasma screens, projectors, speakers, robots! Most importantly is that it's a fun show too as well as being informative.
