Well the idea was to have metro installed, then overlap with BT, then get rid of the BT broadband.

But just as I was ready to ring BT, my metro started having problems, since by this stage many more people had got metro.
(I was 1 of the first 50 in Dublin with metro)

So the main plan is to ditch the metro and BT when NTL bother there arse to get BB into the area.
10meg BB sounds good.

thats either your router, or the eircom service to your house.
Your line is probably not capable of the new upgraded speeds, so it drops.

Well it could be many things, if the modem/router is connected to their network, thats their work done as they are concerned, after that its either your hardware or your software causing problems.

Also, make sure all phone points around your house have a dsl filter on them.
