Problem connecting NTL box to LCD Tv

Hello. Can anyone advise me here? I've just bought a new LG 26" HD LCd Tv. I connect this to my NTL digibox with a scart lead. however the picture and sound are fuzzy on all channels, almost unwatchable. I've been through all the tv menus with no luck and checked that the cables are plugged in correctly etc. Still no joy. Any ideas appreciated!
